Our skin care products contain no harsh sulfates, mineral oil, bovine-source ingredients or propylene glycol. We also avoid petrolatum, lanolin, synthetic color, synthetic fragrance and comedogenic ingredients. Only gentle preservatives, no formaldehyde-releasing preservatives are used. While other companies commonly use ingredients that sensitize the skin, we limit the use of emulsifiers, like stearic acid, stearyl alcohol and glyceryl stearate, because they’ve been found to make the skin dry, sensitive and more irritable. And because science has now proven chronic inflammation attributes to aging, soothing ingredients are added, even when irritation is not a problem.
